Proposed new look for VFPx Home Page

I think that some minor enhancements to the VFPx Home Page would be helpful.

I think that the page is too static and that is not easy to learn about new releases ... there is a box in the upper right corner that says "Downloads" and "New Releases", but it is not of much help either.

My suggestions:
  1. On the home page, add a column next to each project listing the date of the most recent release.  (OK, maybe a second column for the release number as well, I don't know)
  2. Within each group of projects, sort the projects in descending date order.
This would allow one to simply go to the home page and rapidly identify whether there have been any recent updates to projects they are interested in.

Thank you very much!

I find the information on that page to be much more accessible now.

Hi Craig,

a minor nit, but could we please have the dates in a usable format? The "silly" ;) M/D/Y syntax is only used in USA, most of the world (and therefor most of the VFP-users) are on the more logical D-M-Y or  Y-M-D  sequence. Ya know: the thing about sorting... It's much easier to find out if something's changed, if dates are written in correct sequential order.

I think that in this case "logical" is in the mind of the beholder.  Same for "correct".

Personally, all I care is that the date is there, in whatever format.

Cheers,
