Sorry, I can't tell where you are getting the error. Can you walk me through the exact steps to reproduce this? Thanks.

I am sorry my English is not any good. The situation is as follows

AB.LNK
Object
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9\vfp9.exe" -cf:\ab\config.abd
Dir:
F:\AB\

click on AB.LNK

SET DEFAULT TO f:\vfptools\foxtabs
DO foxtabs.app
USE f:\ab\x.dbf SHARED
BROWSE LAST

Perform Table - Properties - bottom next to Date filter a message appears
There is not enough memory to complete this operation.

But if

Object
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9\vfp9.exe" -T -cf:\ab\config.abd

In this case no "error" message appears

Thanks for the additional info. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the error. I can open Table->Properties and click on all the buttons with no errors. I don't see how the display of the splash screen (-T) would make a difference. Here are a few things to check out:
  1. Are you running the latest version of FoxTabs? This issue may already be fixed.
  2. Are you running VFP9 SP2? I have not tested FoxTabs with previous versions.
  3. Are any other tools running (Toolbox, PEM Editor, etc.)? Close all other tools and see if you still get the error.
Hope this helps.

Win7 64 ru
1 - FoxTabs_1.0RC
2 - VFP9 SP2
3 - Clear system

CONFIG.ABD
Empty

Start without LNK - all OK

Start with
AB.LNK
Object
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9\vfp9.exe" - all OK
make a difference
:(

Can you copy & paste the contents of CONFIG.ABD here? I will also test with 64-bit Windows at home tonight, in case that makes a difference.

CONFIG.ABD

status bar = on
clock = status
exclusive = off
deleted = on
multilocks = on
DATE = GERMAN

I was able to reproduce this, but it is pretty obscure. For me, it only happens on 64-bit Windows and when you use the -C command-line option when launching VFP. It happens with or without a config file after the -C. A workaround is to include another command-line switch like -T or -L. Alternatively, you can press the Data Filter ... button again, and the Expression Builder will open without error. I will take a closer look and see if I can figure out what is going on, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do anything about it.

Associated with changeset 85966.

I was able to fix this issue by temporarily turning off event binding for the main VFP window while the Work Area Properties window is open. This is fixed in FoxTabs 1.0.
