Hello everyone,

We have a VFP accounting program in our company.
On our machines, we have client programs, but the main database (and probably the installation, is on the server.
Server is running Win Server 2008 R2.

We have some problems with speed. Sometimes, the program gets very slow, responding slowly.

We can't find a solution.
Our programmer says it's not about his program, but about server. Our network administrators say it's about program...

I'm wondering what could be the problem. Could it be the lack of memory, processor, or something else?

Our server has only 2GB RAM, and Xeon 1,8Ghz processor.

Looking forward to your replies.

It might be a problem with SMB2, try this Registry-changes
you have to restart the server after the changes

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters]
"FileInfoCacheLifetime"=dword:00000000
"DirectoryCacheLifetime"=dword:00000000
"FileNotFoundCacheLifetime"=dword:00000000

Hi Majid.

This forum is specific for add-ons for Visual FoxPro, not general VFP support questions. Please post your message on the Universal Thread (www.universalthread.com), Foxite (www.foxite.com), or one of the other VFP forums. Thanks.
