I just wondering why till up to now (from the original creator of foxpro and up to the giant microsoft) there's no solution of the so called problem in visual foxpro of securing tables... anyone with knowledge in visual foxpro can open your tables.
Please forgive me if codeflex has already existing project for this problem. Please advise.
Thank you.

Since VFP is now feature-complete, this won't be added to the product. There were several commercial solutions for encrypting VFP tables, such as Cryptor. Also, you can use Craig Boyd's encryption utility to encrypt tables (search for his blog, and then look for his encryption posts).

Thanks for your response to my problem... but according to others who implemented encrypting solution to their projects it makes the application slow.
